JAVA Game Project
As a part of the JAVA course I took this year, I was required to create an educational game. Inspired by my toddler, novice-reader sister and cousin, I decided to create a game that would assist children around 4-5 years old review basic reading concepts by utilizing visual learning strategies. In order to ensure that the program had the desired effect, I thoroughly tested the game on my desired target audience. :)
Entrepreneurship Innovation Plan: Clip
At the 2015 DECA International Career Development Conference, my DECA team and I presented a pitch for an entrepreneurship idea we had, called Clip, an application which aims to empower shoppers with organized and personal discounts that they select and receive according to their preferences. We were international finalists in the event. Here's a preview of one of the mockups I made:
Design It's Indiegogo Campaign
The Silicon Valley Design It Officer Team began its Indiegogo campaign which lasted from September 28 - November 17, 2014, in order to raise money for non-profit filing. This campaign was quite a success, as we were able to raise enough money to file all our non-profit forms. Design It is now an official non-profit association!
